"Traversal" is a collaborative mixed media work connecting the physical and virtual worlds through a performative installation work.

The work bridges between a live organ and local physical audience with the virtual world of Second Life.

Visual and gestural actions performed by avatars on a 3D virtual and sculptural abstraction of an organ, trigger events - that once translated into MIDI - signal and shape the composition locally, in real-time on the organ in the live venue.

They would like to use the organ at BU for this project.
